Feast ON Food and Beverage Tour

Our Feast ON food tour on Saturday, September 17 will be a delicious and educational day in the agriculturally rich area of Stratford and Perth County. Each stop explores a unique niche of the Ontario food and beverage production industry, and you will get an in-depth lesson by the producers themselves. We bring you behind the to see what other culinary tours never witness — these food tours are like no other!

- 8:00 a.m: Meet at George Brown College’s St. James Campus (300 Adelaide St. East) for coffee and breakfast snacks made by our students
- 8:30 a.m: We depart for Stratford
- 10:30 a.m: We arrive at Perth Pork Products to learn from owners Fred and Ingrid de Martines about the fascinating world of specialty pork products and their rare heritage pig breeds
- 12:00 p.m: Next stop — Mercer Hall, in the heritage downtown of Stratford, to enjoy a revitalizing lunch of comfort food and refined cuisine using local products. #FeastON about your dining experience!
- 2:00 p.m: We explore brewing with the masters at Black Swan Brewery Co., for a rare opportunity to tour with owners Bruce Pepper and Ryan Stoke and learn about flavour forward, high quality craft beers
- 4:00 p.m: We’ll learn about cheese making from the cheese makers at the renowned Monforte Dairy with owner Ruth Klahsen and her son Daniel. We will tour, demo cheese making and taste their delicious products before heading back to Toronto
- 6:00 p.m: We begin our return to George Brown College’s St. James Campus (300 Adelaide St. East)
- 8:00 p.m: Approximate arrival at St. Jame's Campus
Tickets are $200 each for a single pass, and $175 per person for two or more. Your tour pass includes:
- All transportation, leaving from and returing to 300 Adelaide St. East
- A full day's tour and lessons, led by our resident industry expert
- Tastings, refreshments, and meals
