Uncork Ontario – Grapes to Glass Wine Tour

Learn how wine goes from the vine to the glass as you visit some of the most renown wineries in Prince Edward County. Michael Fagan, a former columnist at the LCBO’s Food & Drink Magazine, will be your expert-at-hand, there to answer all your questions and to help you tour the county like an insider. The mother-daughter duo at The Grange of Prince Edward County Vineyards and Estate Winery will show us the ins and outs of wine production, offering us a rare opportunity to witness an artisanal winemaker in the harvest season. We will enjoy a three-course lunch with wine pairings in their rustic dining room. Our next stop will be Huff Estates Winery, who's singular mission is the production of high-quality wines. We will taste 8 of their premium wines with the guidance of their sommelier, Brian Hanna. Next, at Rosehall Run, we will be hosted by their passionate winemaker Dan Sullivan, who will discuss the production of their state-of-the-art wines. While we sample their finest, we'll be enjoying a light meal catered by PICNIC PEC before returning to Toronto.

Itinerary
- 8:00 am: Meet at George Brown College’s St. James Campus (300 Adelaide St. East) for coffee and breakfast snacks
- 8:30 am: Depart for the Grange of Prince Edward County Vineyards and Estate Winery
- 10:30 am: Tour with Head Winemaker and owner Caroline Granger, followed by a delicious three-course lunch prepared with ingredients from local farmers and a guided wine tasting
- 2:00 pm: Head to Huff Estates Winery for a private guided wine tasting
- 3:30 pm: Head to RoseHall Run to tour, wine taste and eat delicious food catered by PICNIC PEC before we head back to Toronto
- 6:00 am: Make our way back to George Brown College’s St. James Campus.
- 8:00 pm: Approximate arrival time at St. James Campus.
Details
Tickets are $200 each for a single pass and $175 per person for two or more. Your tour pass includes:
- All transportation, leaving from and returning to 300 Adelaide St. East
- A full day's tour and lessons, led by our industry expert
- Tastings, refreshments, and meals
Cancellation policy: Refunds are available by request. All refunds must be requested before Wednesday, October 19, 2016, at noon – purchases will be non-refundable after that time.
